The JuiceJawn is an ode to analog envelope filters of the past, while providing modern control, convenience, and styling. Each JuiceJawn contains a one-of-a-kind, handmade optocoupler, which provides the great dynamic control we all deserve in an auto-wah.
~ Most users find it easiest to work from left to right, first dialing in the desired input gain/output volume with the Gain knob, next honing in the desired Envelope Sensitivity, and finally adding in the desired amount of resonant Q Peak.
~ The left toggle switch changes the filter sweep range between Low and High.
~ The right toggle switch changes the envelope sweep direction between Up and Down (Wah vs. Woh)
The JuiceJawn has two styles of bypass available, which can be selected via the internal dip switch. When the switch is in the OFF position, traditional bypass is used. When the switch is in the ON position, muted bypass is used. After changing selection, turn power off and back on to apply.
Traditional~ True-bypass, relay powered switching system.
Muted~ very nearly True-bypass (equivalent of about 6" cable), relay powered switching system which creates a slight volume dip upon switching to alleviate any filter sweep related switching noise.
Juicitivity~ Adjust this trimpot to further adjust the envelope sensitivity to your instrument (When adjusting, keep sweep direction in "up" position)
Up/Down Bias~ After adjusting Juicitivity, switch sweep direction to "down" position, and adjust this trimpot to further adjust sensitivity of the "down" direction
9V DC (center - )
